Soil Type
ight (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils and requires well-drained soil. The plant prefers acid, neutral and basic (alkaline) soils and can grow in very alkaline soil
Cut the nearly ripe shoots off with the flowers intact and allow to dry slowly on newspaper. The seeds will mature as the flowers dry out and will come loose when lightly disturbed.
